[It's me!]
I visited NLANR/MOAT from July 1998 to mid-January 1999 when I retuned to my other life at:

Department of Computer Science
Waikato University
Private Bag 3105
Hamilton
NEW ZEALAND
I continue to work woth NLANR/MOAT, particullary taking the lead for the AMP project.

As part of theis work I developed:

  • An "active mirror" program which distributes changes in a directory at a master site (or sites) to slave sites as they happen.
  • A new protocol, IPMP to support active measurement.
  • I have also been doing some simulations of the effect of multiplexing HTTP connections over asymmetric high bandwidth-delay product circuits.

You can see where I am using the Microsoft "TerraServer" (SDSC is in the top center).
