The AppLeS TGV, using Cichlid as a visualization front-end.
This graph shows real-time computational Grid resources utilization during a run of a large parameter search. The application is MCell, the Grid resources are managed by NetSolve, and the scheduling is performed by AppLeS. This particular run was conducted during the SuperComputing'99 conference. The resources are organized in clusters, each cluster containing a disk (shown as a cylinder on the graph) and multiple hosts (shown as cubes). Network links connect the client host (central white sphere) to each cluster. Cichlid was use to display real-time data transfers over network links, I/O to disks, and processor utilization.
